An engineer,
first and foremost.
I’ve worked in music production and audio engineering since 2009, with deep roots in the Malaysian music community. I approach each record as a music fan first: listening for the character of the artist and what makes the song their own.
My work is about finding a sound that belongs to the music. That means paying attention to the performance, making considered decisions, and keeping the artist’s identity at the centre of the process.
Along the way, I’ve worked with Hujan, Masdo, Yuna, Siti Sarah, Shila Amzah, Amir Jahari, Awi Rafael and Johny Comes Lately. My production work also includes P. Ramlee (Satu Indiepretasi) and Tribute to Sudirman.
